Stopped at a Mississippi Welcome Center on our way back...stopped there last time also and it was too late to visit inside again, as that part was closed for the day...this sign was on the grounds...very nice rest stop
I found these fascinating...in Memphis, a transfer station I guess you would call it where they load semi trailers on/off of trains. there were several of these structures there.

Getting closer! I had noticed in the other states that there was little to no roadside trash..that changed as soon as we entered Arkansas, and continued up through Missouri...
Getting closer! We were going to fill up in Rolla, but the stations were soo busy we didn't. the low fuel light came on when we were nine miles from town, so our first stop was a gas station!
and here we are!
