Buddies?

Molly the dog and Jack the cat seem to be friends in this pic. The thing is they both want to sit close to my husband and sometimes both try to lay behind/beside his chair.

This gun was on it's way to the gun safe....Jack took a nap by it, right before this he actually had one of his paws draped over it...too funny! He is one tough hombre!

Valentine's Day

This is the chocolates my husband gave me for Valentine's Day! You can see the box it came in was personalized. I plan on using it to store pictures or something like that. You can see that it was 45 yummy pieces of dark and milk chocolate! Hmmm you can also see by the second picture that the top of our dining rom table really needs refinished! Retirement project?! We'll see!!

Birthday Boy

I know I am waaayy behind on my posting......here are some pics from Tyler's first birthday. Richard and I got him this Little Tykes car. We think he liked it pretty good!

He had his own little cake and the rest of us enjoyed this cake! We sure had a nice time at his party! His parents had everything so fixed up and decorated so nice. And of course the meal was great!

Life in a small town

Just got home from the Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner at our church. What a wonderful thing it is when we can get to see both our daughters, their husbands, and our grandson for a while on a weeknight. Life in a small town can be great....saw families and neighbors all visiting and enjoying themselves. I never want to take for granted all the special people that make up our family and the community in which we live!

Birthday Girl

Happy Birthday to our oldest daughter! Twenty-five years ago today I became the Mother of an extraordinary little girl! We have had some great times together! Here's to hoping the next twenty five years are just as good! Happy Birthday! Love you, Mom

Peepers

Heard the peepers calling this afternoon....warm day here! Also saw some daffodils starting to come up....We know Winter is not over-but Spring is just around the corner!

The peepers always remind me of our older daughters birth. The day before she was born we took a walk out near some property we own and the peepers were sure calling that day.
