Duct tape! Can't keep house with duct tape and WD-40! Some trim on the bay window fell off the other day, so we put a temporary repair of duct tape on it...quite attractive! haha
little painted horse...Dutch maybe?
Plant stand that has been living in the Mae house....now is on our back deck under the roof....Speedy thinks it's a great place to hide/sleep under. This came from my Nebraska Grandparents....
Can't remember where I got this rock from, but I have always liked it......
Had a good day Monday doing various things....was sorry I missed a visit from a dear friend though! Will enjoy the magazines she left though......

Pleased to know you trust duct tape to stick things together and W-D40 for getting things unstuck. And don't forget the clothespins - so easy to use around the kitchen! The little painted horse came from Lindsborg, Kansas, and you can look on the Chamber of Commerce site and see another one. I kept one (blue). Your dad and I got them there. It is Czeck, I think - called Dala Horses. Your dad was always partial to rocks with holes in them - so he'd approve.
Wrong nationality (above). Lindsborg is celebrating their SWEDISH ancestry. The Czech capital in Kansas is Wilson, and we've been there also. They were numerous in Nebraska also, as were the Swedes.
Yes, I was sorry that I missed you too but will be back in the area soon. Just wasn't sure of timing yesterday but will let you know next time (hopefully!). Wow! Yards are taking a beating in V. Lots of grass seed will be needed when all this is done. Luv, K
Thanks for the info on the little horse.......
Will look forward to another visit from the magazine lady! Oh, the mess in everyone's yards here is terrible...we have been trying to move some of the iris out by the road...hate to see them destroyed..
