Richard and I took a trip through Southern Kansas into Colorado

recently..we even dipped down into New Mexico one day.  This is a

different route than we usually take heading out there...It was strange

not to go by and visit my Nebraska people when heading West!

This building was in Pawnee Rock, KS. We were going to go to the state park

there, but a wedding was getting ready to happen, so we moved on.

The next pictures are from Fort Larned. It was neat, but they were

getting ready to close for the day when we got there, so we didn't

have much time to look around.

Richard took this Saturday morning (the 22nd)...sunrise over

Garden City, KS

Museum at Syracuse, KS

A couple murals on the buildings, also in Syracuse.

Was interested to see mile after mile of poles using the old

glass insulators.
