Columbus Day

Sarah, Tyler and I went out to the cabin on Monday to take

some more steps in the "closing down" process.  The river

is really low and clear...Some years Richard and I will take

the boat out and float just to look at the bottom of the river

and watch the fish and so on...

Here is Tyler having fun in the old cabin...It was cold enough in

there that the floating toys were partly deflated!

He was such a good boy!

Wish this one wasn't blurry...he has such a cute expression in it.

Both of the picnic tables were covered with leaves...he thought it was

great fun to drive his trucks around in the leaves..

That evening we saw an ad for a department store...a Christmas ad! And then yesterday evening Richard was looking at the Menard's ad and there were Santas and snowmen in it. Wish people would just slow down and enjoy the beautiful Fall....I suppose if there weren't so many political ads on tv, we would be seeing alot more holiday ads.
