This is one of the very few items we have from Richard's childhood....a cute ceramic piggy bank...It stands about six inches high or so....It's marked Italy 172/2 on the bottom...it has been living downstairs for years and now will reside upstairs somewhere!

I love that little piggy bank -- wonder who went to Italy to buy it? It must have been kind of rare due to it being "two of 172." You are STILL finding interesting stuff in your house, esp. the basement! K
