Time to go Fishing?

We have several Catalpa trees in the Mae yard and Richard saw that some of them have 

the Catalpa worms on them.....

It's an invasion! haha! I remember when I was growing up we would use these to

go fishing....and even froze some for later use!

Tyler was here later that day and Richard took him over to show them to him..He picked a leaf with one on it and was so proud of it when he brought it back over to the house to show us! 

Alabama Fishing Trip

Richard recently went on a fishing trip to Alabama..They were gone a week...He and 13 other guys..

five trucks, five boats...This is them leaving on a Friday morning....

It had snowed some that night, and then a couple days later we got a bunch of snow on

Palm Sunday..

One truck hauled a freezer to freeze the fish in...

It would seem they did pretty good!

The crappie weren't biting so they fished for catfish.

I think it must have been a good time!

Be Afraid

Be afraid fish! Be very afraid! My husband and a friend went fishing the other day and I took these pics of part of my husband's fishing arsenal before they left....one side of one tackle box....

I would think they pretty much had it covered! Really, I am glad he enjoys the fishing thing. Just wish he had more time to go!
