Yeti Cooler

Our Uncle and Aunt sent us this nice cooler as a thank you for letting them use the cabin!
It even came with a hat!
Nice rack for stuff you don't want to get wet...also owner's manual and two stickers.
I like the bear emblem!
Nice handles on both sides....
Richard was pretty darn excited about this cooler....I had never heard of them, but he had..
It sure was a nice gift! And one we get a lot of use out of!

Little People School

Since today is the first day of school here, I thought I would do a school-related post.
Here is the Little People school my kids played with when they were little....I put the flag and the stop sign
in the wrong places...Tyler came over later the day I took these pictures and he knew where they were
supposed to go! haha! The flag should be up behind the bus and the stop sign should be were the flag is..

Oh yes, the teacher and students are all happy!
They have fun on the playground!
The bus driver is happy!
All the little kids going to school.....We have more buses, but they didn't make it into this picture.
Couldn't have a school without a lunch line.....
This bunch of stuff came separate from the school set, but thought I would group them with it.
Our  kids had hours of fun with the "little people town" as we called them..These toys were well-made and
had lots of neat details in them....

Friday Fun

Pictures from last Friday evening....taken from our driveway.....
There goes Gretchen the drug dog!
I'm taking pictures of you taking pictures! haha

Last Week's Rain

We had a little rain one day last week...actually it came down pretty good for a bit!
Even had some small hail.....
We have lost so many leaves already that the gutters were clogged...
It's been so long since we had seen any real rain, Tyler was impressed!
It was a welcome bit of moisture....and as soon as it quit Richard got the ladder
and cleaned out the gutters.....was pouring pretty good!

Bob, Ralph, Frank, Tom and Raymond

After lunch, some new friends came to visit too!  This guy whom I shall call Frank, was driving a  really nice red truck!  It was a good thing I didn't want to go anywhere!

The red truck had all kinds of cool supplies in it!
Frank was busy picking out the things Bob and Ralph needed....
Later on, after they had all moved up the street, I went out to investigate...and saw that the hydrant had
water coming out of it's faucet.  Too make a long story short, four of the men came down
to investigate!  The boss man is making sure there is no mud/dirt in the water.
They were able to get it turned off, but it's leaking under the ground somewhere.
By the way, I am calling the boss man Tom.  By the time these pictures were taken both
the girls, Tyler and Richard were all at the house.  We had fun watching the men! Oh, and the guy
behind the bush I am calling Raymond....

Look at Bob smiling! hahaha He saw me taking pictures! Too funny! The girls and I thought it was
hilarious...Richard not so much!
Tom came down to the house and said they would stop and look at it "tomorrow"  The city clerk said
she would adjust our water bill.....The water guys said it was leaking already, which I am not
disputing.....But it wasn't dripping water from the faucet and it wasn't standing in a pond before...
Oh well...You can see how close they got to it....I think they bumped it, but whatever.....
Makes for a good story! hahaha
The new water meter cover...bigger...and far more boring.....

Ralph and Bob Return!

Here is Ralph in his machine! They came back last week to do some more stuff!
I thought it was funny that Samsung made their machine and our television! Wonder if it's the same company?

Bob "supervising" haha
Ralph, appearing to use a shovel. I think Ralph should take a turn with
that shovel!
Yep,that's a hole!
New meter! woohoo!
Old meter cover....probably on it's way to being scrapped....It had way more
"character" than the new one does!
Big hole/trench...fun machines......
They came back the next day for even more fun! Look.....I think Bob left his shovel!
