I came across this guy the other day on the back deck...carpenter bee I think. anyway, I squished it in the middle just to be sure, but it was already dead. I am saving it to show Tyler and Emily.

Katydid on a zinnia plant in front of our bay window Wednesday evening...I like their song and I like how they look like leaves!!
