We were lucky to live in the path of totality for the eclipse, and to have clear skies. I purposely decided not to try to take a bunch of pictures of it because I just wanted to enjoy the moment. It was awesome! Got to see all phases of it and it was truly remarkable! We did have the camera outside and snapped a pic of the shapes on the sidewalk.

This was after totality, and it doesn't really show, but areas to the East appeared much darker than to the West. It was an awesome event to watch! Looking forward to the next one in our area in seven years..will have to do just a bit of driving to get to the totality range, but hopefully we can do that!

Love your pictures. I never had sense enough to get my camera out and take pictures of all the pretty patterns.
The whole deal sure was a neat thing to see!
