Old School

project we did in my room at school...they brought in new teacher desks, so we wrapped my old desk in black paper and the kids used colored chalk to sign it.  came across this in the garage today..

Windmill

I was along on a survey job last week and saw this neat windmill. Windmills are pretty neat and they had it fixed up really nice...

there was also a neat pile of old bricks nearby

and a heavy-duty frame for a swing

and some neat old soda bottles here and there!

Callaway County

I went along on a survey job up in  Callaway  County recently...someone had an odd sense of humor..tying an old  stuffed animal to a fence. I believe it's a snowman of some kind.

I like the different colors of the weathered boards on this old shed!

Old Jeep

This old jeep thing was parked just off the railroad tracks..

the back door thing was in the "up" position....

The inside is a bit trashed!

Argyle Survey

We went and scoped out a survey in Argyle on Sunday....I thought this old equipment was interesting...

Wonder about the people that used to sit in this seat...what stories we could hear!

This piece was along the old railway....

The railroad is in the process of being converted into a trail. Rock Island Trail or something like that.  The rails,etc have been removed from this area already...

and looking the other way, towards Argyle.

These signs were actually on a private road in the area...curious as to whether it is ok to trespass if you have permission? haha  I thought it was a funny sign.
