Eagle

We were heading back to town the other evening after doing some work at the cabin....Richard spotted this eagle in a tree on Old Hwy 63...Pretty neat!

Have several of these bushes in the mae yard.....can't ever remember the name and it's not even that yard!  Mock Orange maybe? not sure

There is a also a couple sections of these old fashioned roses...smell soo good and are so sweet. I battle the honeysuckle to stay out of them with varying success...

the sun was hitting a dark bank of clouds one morning...and the water tower was peeking out from behind a tree.

Emily spotted this the day she was here.... a crab type spider eating a fly....it was on one of the big peonies right by our house...I was glad she was interested in it...

Haven't posted in a while about Emily time.  I had her here yesterday and we sure had  a good time!  We decided to walk around the yard and she wanted to bring her backpack since we were taking a walk.  We stopped to look at the recently planted flowers.

These will fill in and grow big..looking forward to that! Note her sparkly red shoes! They were quite the hit at the grocery store!

She wanted me to take a picture of the Mae House sidewalk....Sure had a good time with her yesterday! Looking forward to more good times this Summer with her and her brothers!
