Sunday in the Garden
We were grateful for the rain we got on Sunday....our garden needed a drink! Our garden did not need the wind though! It knocked every bit of the corn down.....even some of the sunflowers...
poor sunflowers!
The coons won't have a hard time finding this corn!
Some of the corn laying on parts of the zinnias..hopefully they will raise up some..
picture of that same corn I took on Sunday morning!

Thursday's Pictures
Mullien sp? that sprouted up by our house...
at our local MFA....a case of backing up until you hit something?
petunia that sprouted up in our fire pit.....last year or the year before I had put an over-the-hill basket of petunias there, guess a seed from that sprouted....anyway, looks like we won't be using that fire pit anytime soon! Ha!
wildflower sprouted up by the forsythia bush in the yard.
Part of my dinner tonight..this was so good! cantaloupe, blueberries and some bing cherries...tasted like Summer! The bing cherries always remind me of going to see my Grandparents in Nebraska in the Summer. Pop always had bing cherries on hand..they are so good!

Thursday Randoms
This picture was actually taken several days ago...the daylillies are about done now
seed pod something or another on a bush
last time Richard mowed the Old Jail yard he saw this little bottle that had worked it's way up out of the soil...I soaked it in a vinegar/water solution..
I used part of a Lowe's gift card Richard had gotten me for Christmas to buy this neat hummingbird feeder!
Miller County road crew.....that is what Richard was when he pulled this limb a ways so we could get through a county road.
Here is that little bottle cleaned up!
Three more Barbie Spa gals!
Had this tonight for dinner...our first crop from the garden this year..baby zucchini and summer squash..........it was so good!
We kept Tyler and Emily all day today, just for fun! Before it got too hot we played outside for a while. Tyler collected these items in a little bucket. This is the "fire" he built with it. We sure had a good day with them!
Barbie Spa
Some dolls that attended the Barbie Spa! All dressed and ready to go......I didn't put shoes on any of them...will get those out later...I took Emily one of the blue mermaids..she liked it a lot and within 90 seconds had taken it's clothes off haha
Will have to open the spa back up sometime soon and finish what I started!

Visitors
A couple visitors we had to the yard last week....the masked bandit, which I think is really cute....until he gets into our sweet corn anyway....
and a rather large box turtle....I like it too, until it starts eating the tomatoes in our garden...
Looks mad!
