Leaf Time

A few weeks ago we had the twins here one day ...they had a bunch of fun with the leaves.  It was a good day!

 

More Catching Up

Emily earlier in the Summer...had out the totes of Happy Meal Barbies...would line them up and knock them down!

The twins had fun playing on the atv...no doubt imaging some fun adventures.

Finished my grapevine tree a week ago. not real happy with the top, but it'll be alright, at least for now.

More atv fun!  they got these paper bags out of their van and a couple of them went around collecting things from the yard....hickory nuts, seed pods, etc.  fun activity.

Day with the Kids

We took care of the three youngest kids for a good part of Friday so Sarah could go with Tyler on his field trip! We had a really good day! Not one fuss or fight of any kind. Here they are playing with the Fisher-Price Little People that our girls had....Sarah has a few at her house too. They enjoyed these a lot.  

Sure was a fun day and glad we were able to spend some extra time with them!

This Week

Found this in our yard....it would seem Fall is knocking on the door...but it's way too early for that!

These were from last weekend....we watched the twins while Matt and Sarah took the big kids to the school's open house...Ben must have been off to my side the whole time...didn't get a picture of him!

strange berries on an unidentified vine from our garden fence...pink and purple berries?  No idea the name of it....and see that brown thing draped across the top of the picture like garland?  Such awful sharp little thorny things!  Terrible!  

Big Happy Birthday to our beautiful granddaughter on Thursday!  Four years old! She is such a sweet girl! Hope she is always as sweet and happy as she is now!

Christmas Weekend

We had a really nice Christmas weekend. I should have taken more pictures...We had our gathering here at our house on Christmas Eve.   Here is Miss Emily

Ben and Jack were still battling being sick....but they were in good moods.

We started our festivities earlier in the day this year and we liked that better, so will likely stay that way, at least while the kids are little..

Things getting a bit crazy!

about three-fourths the way through the present opening, Emily decided to take a break..

Used a box as a pillow and a big sheet of used wrapping paper as a blanket.

She is something else...too funny! She had been sick last week so maybe she really did need the break.
