Super Fry!

Last Summer Richard bought this fryer....of course I didn't find out about it until last month,

when he used it for his retirement dinner...he had left it up there at work to use...

I guess this means it holds eight and a half gallons of oil? Wow!

Here is a pix of him using it to fry potatoes for Sarah to take to an event...

It would appear you can cook a lot of stuff rather quickly with this! Will come in handy

when he is cooking for a crowd, like church dinners..

Surfaces may be hot? What a surprise! haha!

Bob and Ralph Return

Late yesterday afternoon our old friends, Ralph and Bob came to visit! They brought

their digging machine and dug for a while....here is Bob leaning on a tree! Not sure what

they were doing, but Richard looked out once and they had the fire hydrant all the way

out of the ground and it was hanging by a chain....

We had a nice dinner on New Year's Eve and a good time visiting....still missing some of the people we used
to have over on that night though....

A Snowy Monday

Getting some pretty snow here in Missouri today...took this picture of a  female Cardinal 

from the computer room window...we have a feeder in that tree and it's a busy 

place today!

Merry Christmas to Us

We decided to buy a new TV for the basement....a 55 inch flat screen thing. I am

sure we'll get a lot of good use out of it....

Richard set it up this afternoon.

When I went down there he had pushed our old big screen across the room...on it's

way to other places....I have the feeling if it wasn't for the massive wood pile in the

furnace room, it would be by the door! I felt kind of bad for it...It has been such a 

good tv...I think we got it in 94 or 95.

A Blustery Day

We are getting a taste of Winter here today...it is so windy! Also cold with some snow...

I took this picture of a squirrel this morning in the Burr Oak tree on the North side 

of our house....he was hanging on in the wind!

Last night when Tyler was here he took the little snowman and put it in the 

rocking chair with the big snowman....so sweet...he also put sock monkey

back on the rocking horse....
