Vintage Cards

It was kind of dark in here this morning when I took these pictures, so the colors aren't as bright as they are in person...found this box of vintage greeting cards at a yard sale yesterday..for a quarter!

Labor Day

Due to a lack of other volunteers, I helped put up the Lion's Club flags yesterday...seems like the GM on this sign is backwards, but maybe it is supposed to be that way....

After we put up flags, we went out to Dry Creek so he could do some measuring for a survey job. While he was doing that, I wondered around in Dry Creek. This picture doesn't show it very well, but I like looking at the different layers in the creek banks.....yeah, doesn't take much to entertain me!

We took the flags down that evening too.. Police like tacos! Ha!

Sunday Evening

We had the best time down at the cabin yesterday evening...We took Emily and Tyler with us. They played in the sand pile for a long time and sure enjoyed it.

Tyler finally got to play with his boats at the river...he had a lot of fun with these..

They mostly just waded in the water....it is pretty chilly. Molly is photo bombing...it's not too cold for her!  Emily has been amazed the last two times she has been at the cabin because, as she says,  Look! It doesn't look like chocolate milk! lol

They found some big sticks on the bank and were pretending they were Yoda! They thought that was fun!

Really enjoyed the evening....the time just flew by and before I knew it it was time to take them home.  Thanks to their parents for letting us borrow them for a few hours....Hope to get to do this a few more times this Fall!

Parade

The Giant Parade was this morning!  this is looking North down Main St. we watched the parade there for a while and then walked down to the old MFA where Matt and the younger three grandkids were..
