Yard Sale and Pie

My yard sale finds from a while back!   The kids love hte I  Spy books....and  I thought the flamingo lanterns will be fun at the river this Summer.  Not sure what I will do with the garland, but I liked both of them!

The "pie"  that was served to me in a carry-out meal.  haha  

 

Just Stuff

I went to the Freeburg yard sales last week....I dug these out of a free box at one sale!

I bought Emily this little rolling suitcase thing...she liked it. I found her some clothes too and that is all I bought....Just don't need much of anything, I guess.

Vintage Cards

It was kind of dark in here this morning when I took these pictures, so the colors aren't as bright as they are in person...found this box of vintage greeting cards at a yard sale yesterday..for a quarter!

Freeburg Yard Sales

I went to the Freeburg yard sales and had a good time....didn't go to nearly all of them, but it was fun....Found this little group of dogs for fifty cents....because everyone knows I don't have enough stuff! 

I found several things for Emily....so fun shopping for her! It was hard to not buy even more!

Some of those outfits had some amazing detail...love the little bee...

I like the flowers and eyelet lace...

And of course a book with a stuffed animal to snuggle...

I found a couple pairs of pants for Tyler...and a T-Ball set...also a booster seat for us to use in our car....was  a fun way to spend the morning!

Totally Random Items

I have been into cloth napkins here lately....I was switching out the Summer colors for the Fall colors today and decided to take a picture...Some of these were given to me, some I bought at our church's yard sales. I like using them and don't mind washing them and hanging them on the line...Hanging things on the line are one of my favorite activities! Yes, it really is! ha!

Our town recently had some city-wide yard sales...other than buying some clothes for the Grandkids, I didn't buy much...I did find this pair of red glass salt/pepper shakers. I plan to put them in the window this Winter for a touch of color...

Oh, sure didn't need these items, but you know how that goes! Two Frankoma pitchers...those will look nice with some pampas grass or dried grasses in them....and the other items appears to maybe be a candy dish...made of glass and what appears to be hammered aluminum.

Seasonal display on the front table..the larger ghost I also bought at a yard sale for a dime!

Bar of silver...when we bought the Mae house we were nosing around one day and I pulled a newspaper off a closet shelf to see what date the paper was from....much to my surprise out fell this bar of silver! We were majorly surprised! Too bad we never found any more!

And in keeping with the theme of totally random items...here is an old hard plastic toy dog from the dungeon....he looks very stern!
