Car Wash

We took Tyler to JC today for a day out. Main purpose of the day was to explore the capitol and capitol grounds, but he wanted to go through a automatic car wash too....here is is looking ahead as we are about to go in!

It went by way too fast!  We will have to do this again next time we have him in Jeff.

Paydown

We went to check out the Paydown Access yesterday to see why it was still closed from the flood. the road was passable, but very rough as it sustained damages in the flood. There was also a new power pole  there. The potty  house was quite damaged.  not sure why they have not fixed this back up, but am sure it is at the bottom of the priority list. Sooo many places had a lot of damage from the floods and this access is pretty much off the beaten path.  It is officially closed, but you can tell people have been down in there to use the ramp.

Not a very good picture, and it is from a while ago...but a couple nights ago we had  a mama one in the back yard with four little ones!  beyond cute but didn't get a picture!

Picture of a tree across the river from our cabin. Tyler kept saying "see the Jesus sign"  and being all amazed by something....this happened a couple different days..finally he got it through to us that this tree had the shape of the Christian fish symbol...see it?  He is a neat kid.

Malinda gave them gifts the last day of swim lessons....in Tyler's hand is the lego thing he put together that she bought him. He loves legos!  and Emily adores her Pocohantas doll!

Coolers all over the track. This is the annual end to the week long band camp. and enormous water fight.  I will keep my thoughts on this to myself.

We were down at the river last night and I found this item upriver from the boat ramp....made of metal with numbers stamped in it...not sure what it was for.
