We have turkeys back behind our house again this year...sure enjoy watching them! These were taken yesterday of two of them.

We took a drive checking on a survey job later this evening..saw a total of nearly 25 deer in a short stretch of county road..

Beautiful weather today...a good day all-around!

Thursday Randoms

I have been trying to clean off all of my camera cards, so if these have already been on here, just ignore them!  Molly and Jack being friends earlier this Summer..

Mute Monday

More High Water

We were down at the cabin a couple nights ago...tying up the picnic tables,just in case. More high water coming, supposed to get just above flood stage, which wouldn't get to where the tables are, but you just never know.....I found this huge spider in the potty house......I am guessing the body on it was like three inches long!

Molly was able to find some rocks to carry up from the river.....she scatters them about the yard.

The picture doesn't show it, but the far side of the river was already brown from the Spring Creek water.  It's up high today, so no river this Fourth of July!

Green Stuff

We kept the kids on St. Pat's Day since their caregiver was off that day...When Sarah brought them in that morning she told me Tyler was looking forward to eating green food since it was St. Pat's Day...oops! I hadn't even thought of doing that!  I had some store bought cinnamon rolls in the fridge, so we had those for breakfast with the icing tinted green...

For lunch we had GPa's fried fish, because he really likes that....I made some green sides to go with it....green beans, kiwi, green grapes and mashed potatoes tinted green....I figured he wouldn't eat them, and he didn't. And Emily thought it was play-doh and played with hers...haha....I ate some of the green ones, but I had saved out some without tinting them and that is what Richard had......It was fun to have green mashed potatoes! But weird too!

Have some daffodils blooming by the driveway...these are mini ones....I also have larger daffodils there along with crocus and hyacinths....Love how Molly is photo bombing the picture! Doesn't she look regal? haha!

Huge bush we have out by the road...there were a few hummingbird moths enjoying this, but they were way too fast for me to get a picture! It's also a favorite of the bees..

Mushroom Hunt

Friday evening we went on a mushroom hunt on my Brother-In-Law's place.....I found this big fungus thing on a tree!

Maybe a Buckeye bloom? I should have paid closer attention!

And we found 40-50 of these little gems!

We were on the ATV and did one end of things....headed back to go do the other end and Molly thought we were done....I think she may have been disappointed! Ha!

Cat vs. Dog

Molly has this place she likes to lay in the sun in the yard....She was minding her own business the other day when Jack came up to bother her...Molly was not impressed!

Jack proceeded to lay down in the driveway and roll around in front of Molly....you can tell the dog wasn't liking it.....It went on for a while....

Until this happened! haha!
