We went down in our field/woods several days ago...Here is the well the feds put in to monitor the water for contamination.

Freaky Friday

I did some exploring while Richard was working on a survey  a week or so ago. This picture was taken from the entrance of one side of the shed...would have been fun to go inside and look around, but didn't feel comfortable doing that...

Turtle Discovers Spring

We were down on the mae place Saturday and saw this turtle coming out of it's hiding place..

looked like a good place, burrowed under grass,leaves and dirt and under the safety of a big Sycamore root

He looks rather serious!

Big Snail

Rockets

From four years ago....annoying parachutes and rockets blasted off over at school that ended up over here...one time I was relaxing in my living room and kids came running by the window chasing their rocket stuff...about scared me to death. and it should have scared someone at school....kids running off of school property like that and across a state highway!

Our river neighbor's flowers seem out of place at the river...pretty red tulips...was cold and cloudy this day otherwise imagine they would have been even prettier!

We went out to the cabin  this weekend to look for some wildflowers...came across some of these....pretty neat!
