Getting caught up on some random pictures I have...a toad nestled into our flower area with the moss rose. He looks annoyed with me!

Mother's Day

We had a nice time on Mother's Day....nice meal with the family and good times for sure!  I got some  handmade crafts...the flower pots and handprint picture are so cute! Still on the front table...some choclates, two  gift certificates to the local Mexican  restaurant, a nice card too

also this geranium hanging basket, in almost a fushia color and  a big white lilac bush!  I sure like lilacs  and didn't have a white one. We found the perfect place to put it and have it planted! Will enjoy for years!

Sure am grateful for my family and all they do for me.   It was a good day!

Like  most things that bloom, this year has been a good one for the Columbine..

I was lucky enough to see some neat barns yesteday...and lots of really nice, well-kept farms..it was a beautiful day!

ancient Burr Oak tree,  was huge...top was blown out of it  and there was this neat little building by it.  sure wonder what it looked like back in  the day!
