Blue Morning

Table display I set up one day last week....decided to go with blues this time...Old canning jar, fiesta ware sugar bowl, lovely pitcher that my Mom admired at an auction, so my Dad bought it....bidding against another lady from our church ......wonderful salt/peppers and a blue jay feather.

These belonged to my Missouri Grandparents and have been living in the china cabinet in the living room.....

Last Week's Flowers

Our white iris are blooming...these are near the Mae house and I want to dig up some of them in a few weeks and give some to Norma....

Growing on the East side of our house. I did have some on the South side, but Molly dug them up last Winter....

Plant my childhood friend brought me...Of course I can't remember it's name......

Mute Monday- Bird Edition

Ralph and Bob's Friends

Ralph and Bob's friends came to visit late Thursday afternoon....There were four of them for a while, two watching, one in the pond and one on a big bobcat machine thing. Tyler was here and we walked down in the Mae yard to check out the action. He liked watching the machine work. Ted, as we shall call the one on the machine filled in the pond and made a big pile of rocks and clay mud. It kind of looks like a grave now! haha Some of the other friends rolled up and took away the pretty orange fence stuff.

The old fashioned roses had a close call and are breathing a sigh of relief...for now!

Wow.....that is some rich looking soil, isn't it? haha

Wednesday at the Graveyard

I made two new flower bunches for the graveyard and delivered them Wednesday morning...

I think they turned out ok.....a Spring-like assortment of flowers.....

It was a quiet and peaceful place to be....

The Fallen Tree

We had some rain/wind a few days ago..Bob and Ralph's fencing came down so now the pond is exposed! You can also see some of the damage to the Cedar tree....
This tree came down Friday night.....landed on the fence, but should be able to be fixed....and fell across the Mae driveway...another project for Richard!

He got the saw our and chunked it up enough to clear the driveway....See Jack checking it out? haha
