Big hint! Yes, I am in Rolla over looking I-44....Richard had to go over there Monday to research some land records before he went to Jeff, so I went along! While he is slaving away at the DNR place, I am out walking around.
Multiflora rose bloom....too bad these plants don't know when to stop spreading...their bloom is actually pretty.

While he went to another office I walked the downtown street....since it wasn't ten yet, nothing was open....and some of them aren't open on Monday anyway......It was interesting anyway! I didn't get a picture of the original Red Door Gift store, but it looked interesting!
Yes, there was a limo parked on the street....I think my Dad may have gotten his haircuts here sometimes when he worked in Rolla.....just to the right is Peacock Stained Glass, where Richard bought the stained glass hanging in our bay window. I imagine both of these businesses have since changed hands.

same building....had a metal facade? trim? around it...including flowers along the top, which silly me didn't take a picture of them.
That morning was alot of fun....and made me think perhaps I should shop more in the small businesses......
