Survivors

In our ditch we had growing wild some Evening Primrose.....a day or so after the digging I noticed that this brave one had survived and was blooming on top of a pile of dirt.....
Later in the evening it was bloomed all the way out.

Later I saw that some others had survived where the top of the dirt didn't all get torn up...

I always enjoyed these in the Summer and am glad some of them survived......well so far anyway!
