Home Again!

We got back last night from our trip to see my Mom and her husband. We traveled through nine states, counting our home state...Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas. We crossed the Mississippi, Ohio, Tennessee and countless other rivers...got our feet wet in both the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico...Saw many beautiful beaches and lakes...explored towns....toured the raceway at Daytona...went through Mobile, Alabama in a driving rainstorm during rush hour...had lunch in a park on the "wrong" side of town in Mississippi...Saw beautiful Mammoth Springs in Arkansas...and most importantly had a safe trip due to my husband's outstanding driving ability, as he drove every single mile!

Lots of catching up to do here and will be putting on some pictures next week....Looking forward to seeing our daughters, son-in-law and Mr. Tyler today....and celebrating Sarah's birthday tomorrow.

It was really nice to get to see my Mom and where she lives...and we left some things to do for the next time we go back!

Tiny Daffodils

I bought two tiny pots of tiny daffodils went I went with Sarah to Jeff last week....they are so cute! There used to be one of these on the West side of the Mae house, but it eventually got shaded out by other plants and isn't there anymore... this was a rare impulse buy!

Alabama Fishing Trip

Richard recently went on a fishing trip to Alabama..They were gone a week...He and 13 other guys..
five trucks, five boats...This is them leaving on a Friday morning....
It had snowed some that night, and then a couple days later we got a bunch of snow on
Palm Sunday..
One truck hauled a freezer to freeze the fish in...
It would seem they did pretty good!
The crappie weren't biting so they fished for catfish.
I think it must have been a good time!
