Little Red Chair

Here is one of my projects from the Summer....I took this badly rusted child's lawn rocking chair and fixed it back up....used a wire brush/steel wool...then spray paint...

It looks a lot better...could maybe use another coat....

Looking forward to seeing Tyler and Emily using it...it's pretty small..maybe two feet tall?

Last Week on the Track

Last week one evening we went over to the track with Sarah and the kids to watch Tyler ride his new bike.....It was fun and he was so excited!

Emily would take off crawling to meet him when he would come around from doing  a lap!

He was pretty excited and did several laps..

It was neat to watch him riding his bike...and a nice way to spend some time that evening!

Garden Progress

Early in the season...things barely starting to come up!

Richard has worked so hard in the garden this year! I am not much help...would like to be, but my goal in gardening is just to stay out of the pain clinic....

Noticed today that the corn is all tasseling....also these pictures don't show the cucumbers and most of the gourds/pumpkins...Sure could use some rain!

Monday Catching Up

Part of the green beans from our garden....

First picking of our green beans....took quite a while to get these from the garden to the freezer...but they will sure be good next Winter!

Freaky Friday

Picture taken at the rocky area by the river in front of the cabin....the round item by the spider that looks like a rock is actually an egg sack....the spider was dragging it around..I suppose to get away from us!

Sunshine in the Winter

These are going to be so good this Winter! Will be like a bit of Summer sunshine! Fourteen bags went into the freezer! 

A Wagonload

Just got through picking these....and there are more over in the garden...I think in the future I shall be more careful/specific about what/how much I would like planted in the garden! Ha!
