Happy Halloween

Sarah made this for us from the kids' footprints....Isn't it just the cutest thing ever? I wouldn't change a thing about it! Sure appreciate all  the extra things she does!

We kept the youngest three grandkids today so Sarah could go along on Tyler's field trip...We had such a good day! Emily decided to sit in this small plastic container that we store a little wooden train in! I thought it was so funny!

Surprisingly she didn't have much trouble getting up out of it.

We had a good time with Ben and Jack also! I hope we didn't mess up their schedule too bad, but we probably did...

They were all so good all day and we enjoyed having them!

I am taking advantage of the nice weather today by finishing my laundry..I had hung the first load on the line and later looked outside and saw that Jack had pulled a couple towels off the line to lay on. He loves damp/wet towels.....and even though these are clean, he will lay on the stinkiest grossest towels that he can find. Weird cat!

Random Stuff

The speed limit sign by our house got knocked down last Friday while we were gone taking my Mom to the airport...apparently someone/thing hit it and knocked it right off. It was laying in the ditch near the pipe, so Richard moved it up near the fence so it wouldn't interfere with the pipe if we got any rain...it's still laying there...imagine they'll fix it one of these days.

We did some cleaning at the cabin Monday in preparation for closing it up soon for the season..I found this colorful mug in a cabinet.

We bought a new toaster yesterday! I had to take a picture of it since it'll never be this clean again. We bought the step up from the one we have now...which was the super cheapie..the one we have now had gotten real hard to control the "browness" of the toast.and the last time I used it I turned around and there was smoke pouring out of it from burned toast.  Goodbye old toaster! oh, and the house oddly enough smelled like burnt popcorn the rest of the night!

Loving this nice weather we have been having! Hoping for some rain in a couple days though..sure is dry around here!
