Snowy Sunday

Late morning we started to get some pretty snow today....off and on with big flakes and so fun to watch!  I liked it. I know some people are so ready for Spring, but it was so neat to watch.

It snowed most of the afternoon...and wasn't super cold, so it was melting some as the afternoon went along and the roads here never got slick, but did some North of here.

The daffodils were somewhat leaning down from the weight of it, but it won't hurt them....they'll be perked back up tomorrow!

Wild Weather Day

Such interesting weather yesterday!  Windy all day, then later in the day we had some off and on snow showers but with the wind they looked like blizzards! Ha! Didn't last long, but I sure liked them. Maybe because I didn't have to be outside!

There was a couple times I could barely see town or the school buildings..and I did think about the school kids and staff that were loading busses while this was going on.

I thought it was fun though!

Lost Canoe

This is at our boat ramp...pretty far up in a tree..a canoe that got wrapped around a tree during the flood.

We didn't walk down close to it due to the mud, will do that another time!

Line across the River

Power pole broken off when a wire got hung on something and it down in the water.

Pretty strong tension on this wire!

wonder what the plan is on fixing it

can't see it in the picture, but the pole on the other side of the river was pulled out of the ground.

crest for this flood was 20 feet

Seems odd that a 20 foot crest doesn't seem all that remarkable anymore....we'll hope we don't get too much rain over the next couple of days.
