Bill and I wonder if the last purple one might be a "butterfly pea?" (May-Sept) habitat acid soils in open upland or lowland woods, streamsides of southern MO. Low, shrublike, twisting branches (but not a climber). Very pretty flowers. We enjoy them. K

Richard says he thinks you are right about the purple one! All of today's flowers were in the unkept area of the car wash lot!
