Wildflower Wednesday

These pictures were all taken at the river on April 12.....Small star shaped flower..
A fading Dutchmen's Breeches plant....You can see the seed pods starting to form.....at least I guess that is what those are!
There was a good sized area on the bank below the old cabin of Sweet William....so pretty!

Trillium? Not sure on this one..
So many different things budding out and blooming this time of year!

My Mom's maiden name was Williams. Every Spring, Dad picks
a bouquet for his "Sweet Williams". He even took her some at the nursing home.
