The girls and I took the two "big kids" down to the cabin this morning for a little outing....we had such a good time! Water was a bit cold, but nice and clear. Here Emily is keeping an eye on Malinda, who had gone downriver a bit to retrieve a toy that had floated off.
Tyler had lots of fun with the toy boats....same toy boats that our two girls played with!
Sure was a nice place to spend the morning!

He also had fun with these....we also had some toy nets that proved to be a lot of fun!

I think the river-outing-before-school begins is a great tradition! I remember when Mozelle used to take the grandkids for an overnight at the river cabin every summer. Thought that seemed like so much fun for all and memories were bound to be made from those times as well as what you are Richard are doing with the family now.
