Christmas at the Mae Place

Used one of the old wreaths that have been around a while to decorate the useless gate at the mae house...it's useless because there is no fence on one side of it! Anyway, a little Christmas cheer to the East!

And of course I had to put a wreath on Molly's gate! She likes Christmas too!

Window before

And after.......It has been a few years since I have put the grilles on our windows. R doesn't care for them and I really just haven't had the time or energy to do it the past few years.....I like the way they look for the colder months. After I put them in I hung alot of suncatchers and stained glass things in the windows......

Which way do you like the windows..plain or not?

I like them both ways. We also have the grills (Anderson windows?) and I took them out a few years ago. Makes it easier to wash windows, although I seldom do that guess it shouldn't matter. lol I am HORRIBLE at washing windows.

I like the grills too. I don't think I've ever seen them that way at your house or if I did, I forgot. Would like to see the suncatchers too! I think I'm going to become a minimalist. When Bill dragged all our decorations out, I was overwhelmed and our house doesn't look decorated, it looks like a consignment store....smile...Karen

You are right Connie...they are Andersen Windows! It is really difficult to wash them with those in....For years we compromised by just having them up during Nov.-March....then I would wash right before I put them on and right after I took them off.....
Karen, you made me laugh with your consignment store comment! too funny! And I intended to take a picture after I put the sun catchers up, but the tree got put up before I did it!
