If Walls Could Talk-Part Two

One of four dormers...and also the one in the worst shape. I thought it was interesting
that the two to the west had sheet iron over the top part of the windows. Neat old
tin roof too! Bet it sounds neat when it's raining!
cistern just the the southwest of the house...appears to be hewn limestone base it's sitting on
Log outbuilding
hewn limestone steps to the back porch...lots of hewn limestone here....
Near the base of the windows....maybe for shutters??
Neat blue color on the roof of the porch on the West.....the porch ran the entire length
of the back side of the house....so neat.....must have been really nice to sit on that porch
and watch the sun set over the Maries Valley!
Interior of one of the South rooms....this room had brick walls that had been covered in plaster..
and had these big beams in it too..
Old door and knob....chippy paint!
Window looking East
one of the entry doorknobs
old time light switch
Look at the ceiling in one of the North rooms..huge beams!
Must have been something in it's day
Stack of old windows...would be cool to do "projects" with these!
Stay tuned for the final installment of "If Walls Could Talk"
