Last of the Box

These items were actually in the back of a small box labeled "Mom's Letters" meaning
Grandma Frieda's letters...I have been trying to separate out the Nebraska things from
the Missouri things...anyway, this is a pretty random assortment of things...mostly from
Missouri...and I sure could have done a better job photographing them!
The rest of this was in the boxes I opened this weekend....
There were A LOT of postcards...not even going to try to put them all on here!
Sweet birthday cards to my Dad from his Grandma..
and the insides..
Found assorted pictures as well...
Late this afternoon we took a short drive on a county road...I sure would like to go
explore this place!

Wish I could be there to look at this material with you. Whose names are on the Holy Matrimony paper? The Panama City Florida postcard probably from Jay as he was stationed there. Is that a plane on what looks like a tie clip? The picture shows Lyndal, Kenny Orvis and Florence his wife in front and Kendall in back, me and Dixie in front and Jay behind me and then Marilyn and her sister in front and to the right is another cousin, Rex Casteel. Quite a cousin get-together in early 1950s.
Love, Mom

It would be fun to go through it with you! That is Cecil and Juanita's marriage lic. That Panama City postcard is like a packet with a bunch more inside...The plane on the tie clip was in a plastic bag, like it had never been opened....Thanks you for identifying the ppl in that picture...I was hoping you would! I don't know why that pix and the other two are crosswise...I didn't take them that way...apparently I still have stuff to learn! Ha!
